The GL Consultancy offers three specialist programmes:
Programmes may be purchased individually, in an eligible two-programme combination or as the complete three-programme pathway.
Each programme provides structured self-paced learning, supporting materials, practical activities and an individual assignment.
Every purchased programme includes:
Participants are responsible for completing the learning activities and developing and submitting their own practical outputs.
Programme access duration, assignment submission requirements, completion criteria and certificate arrangements will be specified before enrolment.
Programme completion does not constitute independent organisational validation, occupational certification or external accreditation unless expressly stated and supported by the relevant approval.
Current programme prices and available combinations are displayed on the relevant programme pages and confirmed before payment.
A two-programme package provides access to the two selected programmes. The complete pathway provides access to all three programmes.
Each included programme carries its own onboarding discussion, assignment review and completion feedback discussion.
Programme packages apply to the named programmes selected at purchase. Any provisions for changing programme selections, transferring access or enrolling another individual will be explained before purchase.
Critical Friend Mentoring provides specialist guidance, constructive challenge and expert review of competency-based outputs.
The service supports the development of competency frameworks, competency-based curricula and competency-based assessment strategies and instruments.
Each purchased mentoring session includes:
The initial draft should be submitted at least three working days before the scheduled session.
A revised document should be submitted at least three days before the next mentoring session or within 14 days following the final session of an engagement.
Mentoring packages are available for one, three or six sessions.
Mentoring does not include developing complete documents on behalf of clients or providing a formal independent organisational audit.
Package validity, appointment cancellation, rescheduling and unused-session arrangements will be confirmed before purchase.
Clients purchasing one or more specialist programmes may purchase one eligible Critical Friend Mentoring option at preferential rates.
The discounted mentoring option must be selected at the same time as the qualifying programme purchase.
Only one discounted mentoring option is available per qualifying purchase.
The discounted options are:
The applicable discounted price will be displayed before payment.
Mentoring purchased separately at a later date is charged at the prevailing standard rate.
These arrangements do not replace the individual onboarding and completion feedback already included with each programme.
Independent Reviews and Audits provide objective evaluation of existing competency frameworks, learning programmes, assessment arrangements and related organisational systems.
Every engagement is individually scoped.
Before commencing an assignment, the client and The GL Consultancy will agree the:
Findings and recommendations reflect the evidence examined and the agreed review criteria.
An independent review does not constitute regulatory approval, formal accreditation or certification unless expressly agreed and supported by the necessary authority.
Specialist Consultancy provides strategic advice, technical expertise and practical support for organisational capability development.
Assignments may include strategic workforce analysis, competency framework development, curriculum design, assessment systems, specialist training, mentoring, implementation support, monitoring and evaluation.
Consultancy can be delivered remotely, on-site at client premises or through a combination of approaches.
Each engagement is governed by an agreed proposal or service agreement defining its objectives, scope, deliverables, responsibilities, fees, timescales and other relevant conditions.
Changes to an agreed consultancy assignment may require a revised scope, timetable or fee.
Where The GL Consultancy has participated in developing or implementing a system, subsequent evaluation of that system will not be represented as a fully independent audit.
Published programme and mentoring prices are expressed in US dollars unless otherwise stated.
The total amount payable, including any applicable taxes and additional charges, will be presented before the order is placed.
Payment methods will be identified during checkout.
Programme and mentoring purchases will generally require payment before access or delivery begins, subject to applicable statutory rights and any expressly agreed alternative arrangements.
Organisational clients may arrange payment through an approved purchase order where this has been agreed in advance.
Where a purchase order is required, the organisation should provide the relevant purchase order details before the agreed services commence. Invoices will include the purchase order reference where applicable.
Purchase orders will be administered in accordance with the agreed contractual and payment arrangements. Any additional purchasing conditions must be expressly agreed in writing.
Independent reviews and consultancy projects will be invoiced according to their respective written agreements.
Any payment schedule, deposit, milestone payment or reimbursable expense will be confirmed before the relevant engagement begins.
Customers' cancellation, refund and rescheduling rights are governed by The GL Consultancy's Refund, Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy, together with any applicable statutory rights.
The policy sets out the standard arrangements for specialist online programmes, Critical Friend Mentoring, independent reviews and specialist consultancy.
The applicable terms will be made available before purchase or agreement to an engagement.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions or the separate policy excludes or limits statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Clients must ensure that they have appropriate authority to share any organisational documents, personal information or third-party materials.
Document Submission and Secure Transfer
Documents associated with specialist programmes, mentoring, independent reviews and consultancy may be submitted using an agreed electronic transfer method.
The GL Consultancy recognises that some organisations have specific information security policies and may require documents to be transferred through approved organisational file-sharing or secure document-transfer services.
Where such requirements apply, a suitable transfer method will be agreed before documents are exchanged, taking account of confidentiality, security, accessibility and the practical requirements of the assignment.
Clients should not transfer confidential, commercially sensitive or personal information through an unapproved channel where specific security arrangements have been established.
The GL Consultancy will handle submitted information in accordance with the agreed engagement, relevant confidentiality requirements and the Privacy Policy.
Clients remain responsible for the accuracy, suitability, organisational approval and implementation of their final competency-based outputs, except where particular responsibilities have been expressly accepted under a consultancy agreement.
Client-Developed Outputs
Competency frameworks, curricula, assessment strategies, assessment instruments and other professional outputs developed by an individual, team or organisation remain the property of the client, their employer or the relevant legal rights holder.
Participation in a specialist programme or receipt of Critical Friend Mentoring does not transfer ownership of those outputs to The GL Consultancy.
Clients retain the right to use, develop, modify and implement their own outputs within their organisational or professional activities, subject to any applicable third-party rights.
Outputs Developed on Behalf of Clients
Where The GL Consultancy is commissioned to develop specific frameworks, curricula, assessment instruments, reports or other deliverables on behalf of a client, the intended ownership arrangements will be agreed in writing before the assignment begins.
Unless a different arrangement is expressly agreed, the intention is that ownership of bespoke final deliverables will pass to the commissioning client following payment of the agreed fees, with any necessary intellectual property assignment documented in the signed agreement.
The GL Consultancy's Intellectual Property
The GL Consultancy retains ownership of its existing methodologies, professional development materials, teaching resources, templates, tools and other intellectual property.
Where these are incorporated into client deliverables, the client will receive the agreed rights necessary to use, adapt and implement those deliverables for their intended organisational purposes.
These arrangements do not authorise the separate resale or commercial distribution of The GL Consultancy's proprietary training materials or methodologies without permission.
Confidentiality of Client Outputs
The GL Consultancy will not publish, distribute or use identifiable client documents, organisational information or commissioned deliverables as marketing materials, case studies or training examples without the client's express permission.
The GL Consultancy recognises that client engagements may involve confidential, commercially sensitive or proprietary organisational information.
All client information and documents received in connection with professional development, mentoring, independent reviews and consultancy will be treated confidentially and used only for the agreed purposes, subject to applicable legal obligations.
Confidentiality requirements will form part of the relevant service or consultancy arrangements.
Where appropriate, The GL Consultancy will enter into a separate Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before confidential information is exchanged.
This may include signing an NDA provided by the client, subject to review and mutual agreement, or establishing an appropriate confidentiality agreement specifically for the engagement.
Where both parties expect to exchange confidential information, a mutual NDA may be appropriate.
Agreed confidentiality arrangements will identify the information protected, permitted uses and disclosures, security requirements and the duration of confidentiality obligations.
The GL Consultancy will respect reasonable organisational requirements governing secure document transfer, restricted information access and the handling of commercially sensitive materials.
Personal information will be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection requirements.
